Terms of Service

Cage MDB is a free, fan-made hobby project for exploring Nicolas Cage's filmography and keeping track of the movies you want to watch, have watched and have rated.

Cage MDB is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nicolas Cage or his representatives, or by TMDB, IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic, OMDb or JustWatch.

By using Cage MDB, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Anyone can browse without an account. To create an account you must be at least 13 years old (14 in Korea). If you're under the age of majority where you live, please ask a parent or guardian for permission.

You sign in with your Google or Kakao account. You're responsible for activity under your Cage MDB account and for keeping your sign-in account secure. If you notice any unauthorized use, secure your Google or Kakao account right away.

Your watchlist, watched list and individual ratings are private to your account. Your ratings also count towards the community averages shown on the site (the Cage MDB rating), which are anonymous aggregates and never identify you.

Your data remains yours. You allow us to store and process it only to run the site, including calculating community averages. You can download or delete it at any time on the Account page.

Movie details, images, ratings and streaming availability come from third parties, including TMDB, OMDb and JustWatch, and are provided as is. We can't guarantee that they are accurate, complete or up to date.

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Movie titles, images, trademarks and logos, including those of IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic, belong to their respective owners.

Please use Cage MDB for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't:

You can stop using Cage MDB and delete your account at any time on the Account page.

We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms or put the site or other users at risk. Because Cage MDB is a hobby project, it may change or shut down at any time; if we plan to shut it down, we'll try to give notice so you can download your data first.

Cage MDB is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that the site will always be available, secure or free of errors.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of, or inability to use, Cage MDB.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can't be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users on the site before they take effect. If you keep using Cage MDB after the changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Translations are provided for convenience; if a translation conflicts with the English version, the English version prevails.
